This page looks like a piece of crap! What can I do to make it look better?

Worry not, dear web surfer. Follow these simple directions.
a) Go download the newest version of a decent web browser (note, avoid IE and Firefox and as for those other browsers, I don't care enough to check).
b) Install the browser.
c) Come back to this page with your brand-spanking new browser.

I adamantly refuse to conform to "Microsoft CSS" and I will continue to use my current CSS styles.

Clearly, there is something very wrong with your eyes. I suggest you do the following:
a) Set your monitor resolution to 1024x768 or higher.
b) Make sure that your monitor is not monochromatic
c) Buy a new monitor if your current one blows.
